GameChanger's minting tool requires a PDF file. If your document isn't already a PDF (a Word doc, a note from any text editor, a scan, etc.), use a free converter like freeconvert.com — upload your file, choose PDF as the output, then download the converted file to your computer.
Sign up at pinata.cloud (free tier works fine) and generate a JWT API key from your account settings. This is what lets GameChanger permanently store your file.
In your GameChanger Wallet, click NFT Creator in the left menu, then go to the Advanced tab.
Paste your Pinata JWT token into the Advanced tab and accept. This connects your wallet to your own Pinata storage — your key stays between you and GameChanger.
Click the mint button, browse for your PDF (BOL, receipt, inspection report, etc.), and fill in a title and description so you can find it later.
Choose how many copies to mint (usually just 1 for a document), upload, and continue.
Click the NFT, hit sign and send, enter your wallet password, and accept. Make sure you have a small amount of ADA in your wallet to cover the minting fee.
Your document is now minted to your wallet and permanently hosted on Pinata. You can close GameChanger and come back to it anytime — it's not going anywhere.
This isn't hypothetical. I owed the IRS over $15,000 in capital gains tax, and the employee tax forms my business needed to sort it out were paper — and got lost. I scanned what I had left with my phone, converted it to a PDF, minted it through GameChanger, and it was permanently saved on Pinata. That let me send the document straight to my IRS representative instead of tearing everything apart looking for a paper copy that might never have turned up. If I hadn't minted it, I'd have been stuck searching for a document that may not have existed anymore.
This process happens entirely inside your own GameChanger Wallet and your own Pinata account — Midnight Loadboard does not see, store, or have access to your documents, your Pinata key, or your wallet password. Never share your Pinata JWT or wallet password with anyone, including us. Minting requires a small amount of ADA in your wallet to cover network fees.
